The problem of what had then?

Primarily by laziness not to make the aggiornamneto following the directions given by WordPress.org prompting to deactivate all the themes and plugins configured on its website.

Specifically, however, this problem is given by the activation of the plugin MyGallery not finding two files generates this dreadful problem. The files are indicted:

In fact, reading the code of the plugin can be observed:

WordPress 2.6.5!

November 26, 2008 No Comments

Almost every regular team of WordPress has released another major update of the platform's most beloved blogger, or at least from me.

We are therefore in WordPress 2.6.5 !

As the authors themselves have written was skipped version 2.6.4 because of versions "fake" that are shot on the net that compromettavano security blogger. Reported verbatim text:

The security issue is an XSS exploit discovered by Jeremias Reith That Affects fortunately only IP-based virtual servers running on Apache 2.x. If you are interested only in the security fix, copy wp-includes / feed.php and wp-includes / version.php from the 2.6.5 release package.

2.6.5 contains three other small fixes in Additions to the XSS fix. The first Prevents accidentally saving post meta information to a revision. The second Prevents XML-RPC from fetching incorrect post types. The third adds some user ID sanitization During bulk delete requests. For a list of changed files, consult the full changeset between 2.6.3 and 2.6.5.

Notes That we are skipping version 2.6.4 and 2.6.3 to 2.6.5 from jumping to avoid confusion with a fake release 2.6.4 That made the rounds. There is not and never will be at version 2.6.4.

I have already updated without problems, and no hitch with no plugin (in my case)!

How about you? What aspects?
Good update to all!

WordPress 2.6 ... the "saga" continues!

July 15, 2008 6 comments

And after over a month of development, the team of WordPress has released another major update of the platform's most beloved blogger, or at least from me.

We are therefore in WordPress 2.6 !

There are many new features:

  • review system of post
  • support gears;
  • preview of the themes;
  • publication via Bookmarlet;
  • correction of 194 bugs;
  • more ...

I refer you to the site of the good old (not so eh) David for a detailed explanation of the changes introduced (with lots of screens).

I have already updated without problems, only a plugin that makes the tantrums, but beyond that no hitch!

How about you? What aspects?
